Segregation according to resource factor among 40 species of British passerine birds.

Description
Most segregation is by habitat, followed by size, feeding habit, geography, and type of winter range in which they forage. In about 15% of cases, no obvious segregation was observed. More than half of all bird species, including Saxicola rubicola, are passerines, also known as perching birds.
