The central vacuole in plant cell stores the cell sap and helps to maintain the turgidity of cell.

The vacuole has many responsibilities. First it helps stabilize the turgor (water) pressure within the cell so the plant won't dehydrate. Another one is it helps store nutrients.

i think it stores water
