The Scientific Method is simply a framework for the systematic exploration of worldly patterns. It is an iterative process, uses the repeated acquisition and testing of data through experimental procedures to disprove hypotheses. In short, the scientific method is not a linear process of steps, but a method of inductive reasoning. Inductive reasoning on the other hand, is a type of logic in which natural laws or statements are inferred from observations. And facts are utilized to produce theories that explain the patterns, and indicate a degree of support to the hypotheses. Hence, the scientific method is driven by such.
