Society is having lots of problems. I'll give a few examples but I don't want to start a debate.

USA has become a legal minefield. Bureaucracy has grown so dense that it is destroying everything it was originally set up to protect. (like HAL on 2001 Space Odyssey)

I'm writing a paper about the human race and want to compare it to germs in a petri dish but I know little about biology. I'd like to say the germs population explodes but then it kills itself in its own waste. Is that true?

Sort of... eventually any population reaches carrying capacity. According to the bible, mankind will eventually parish due to death, famine, pestilence, and war. This was also predicted by a famous population biologist more than 200 years ago. Once bacteria exhaust their food source, only the toughest germs survive - those that can survive with very little.

Hope this rant helped...
