3. How does the extent and orientation of the human sartorious muscle differ from its relative
position in the pig?

In humans, the satorius is a thin straplike muscle running obliquely across the anterior thigh. In the pig it is broad and flat and covers most of the anterolateral thigh. Its course is oblique, but appears less so because it is much larger.

4. Explain the differences in terms of differences in function.
