Hey guys,
I am new here, not sure if it's right place to post, but my girlfriend is finishing highschool next year, she is interested in neuro-science as an undergraduate full-time course in the UK or Germany, I was wondering if you guys have any english text books you recommend her having a look at to make a final choice.

Okay, to specialize in a degree like neuroscience, her first two years of study will be purely science and math-based. All known textbooks on neuroscience are psychology books like Neuroscience: Exploring the Brain. To understand the brain, you need to know the basics about how nerves transmit signals, how the central nervous system works, etc. - I think all of these would be covered in the book I recommended.
