Does this have to do with a lab of some sort, please provide some more details. In addition, is this a PhysioEx exercise?

Yes we have to put a rat in an air chamber and then measure the amount of oxygen and record the weight of the rat and then find the metabolic rate for the rat. It is from physio ex 9.1 lab for anatomy and physiology 2 the formula they have give me to use it as follows-(ml o2/hr) (weight in kg) = ml o2/kg/hr the weight of my rat is 250 in grams and the o2 for 1 minute is 7.1 ml  / I did try to do this but when i did I came up with 4733.33 and I don't think that is right? Is this enough info for u?

If you share the exercise name and activity number, I could look it up for you.
