Synapses are essential to neuronal function: neurons are cells that are specialized to pass signals to individual target cells, and synapses are the means by which they do so.

It seems that Synapses like a messenger, transferring signals between cells, I would like to know on what make brain difference with different amounts of synapses,

If people have more synapses within brain than average people, would he be able to collect more detailed information from signals? since he has more synapses.

If people have less synapses within brain than average people, would he be able to collect less detailed information from signals? since he has less synapses.

Would the quantity of signals affect how detailed we perceive information?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
