As the owner of a KFC franchise, you want to raise chickens that have an extra set of wings.  How would you do it?  Be brief.

You’d need to induce a new limb field, which could be done by addition of FGF to the flank of the body.  You’d also need to insure that the limb will be a wing, not a leg, so you need to make sure the right Tbx is expressed (I don’t care if they say 4 when it’s supposed to be 5, but they should know that Tbx is critical).  Another way to do this would be do induce a duplication of Hox gene expression, so that there is a second region of Hox expression that normally induces forelimb outgrowth.
