Conjugated estrogen (Premarin) is indicated for treatment of menopause. Prior to administering the medication to a woman who has just had a hysterectomy, the nurse should explain the side effects, which are:
1.   breakthrough bleeding.
2.   hypotension.
3.   arthralgia.
4.   skin rash.
