I am stuck between two answers studying for a test and would appreciate help with rationale as my book doesn't make sense. Thanks in advance!

Effects of beta-adrengenic blockade by propranolol include;

Beta blockers block the action (not the release) of endogenous catecholamines epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine (noradrenaline) in particular, on β-adrenergic receptors, part of the sympathetic nervous system, which mediates the fight-or-flight response.
