How does estimating the concentration of purified DNA correlate with DNA purification?
So I just finished a molecular lab and we purified our given plasmid DNA which was E. Coli then we ran a gel and from that gel we had to estimate the concentration of our purified DNA. How does how well the purification went contribute to the concentration of the gel. I'm a little uncertain about this.

If your purification is not good, basically, you will have RNA contamination. RNA is also nuclear acid that will give you band in the gel. As a result, your estimation will not be accurate enough. When you are looking at your gel, you might see a smear not a single band.
