I read my genetic book for this, but I can't seem to find the answers. Please help if possible.

PART A
The discernible difference in length between the two X chromosomes of the female fruit fly was important in Stern’s experiments because _______.
   A) it allowed cytological detection of physical exchange between the chromosomes
   B) it allowed him to predict the phenotypic ratios among offspring
   C) the carnation eye color phenotype was difficult to detect
   D) only the longer of the two X chromosomes could be passed on to offspring

PART B
Stern observed all of the following results EXCEPT _______ in his experiment.
   A) the number of car, B+ male offspring was roughly equal to the number of car+, B male offspring
   B) the number of males was roughly equal to the number of females
   C) offspring with red, round eyes resulted from fertilization of eggs containing recombinant X chromosomes
   D) one of the recombinant phenotypes was associated with an X chromosome of normal length

PART C
The results of the Stern experiment supported the general idea that _______.
   A) crossing over does not occur in males
   B) alleles of different genes assort independently
   C) only females exhibit incomplete dominance
   D) genetic recombination is a result of physical exchange between homologous chromosomes
