Welcome to the forum CloGirl1316, you have to be more specific (are you talking about egg albumin or blood albumin protein?)

- albumin is a globular protein with a tertiary structure (single sub-united protein)

- albumin has non-polar side-chains; thus, it insoluble in water but soluble in oil.

Thanks so much your a life saver, but one more question! how many amino acids does it have? I'm very confused about that topic.

Sorry, its just my professor just told me to research a protein, so i picked albumin. Should I make it a blood
albumin? Oh and does it have any special kind of folding?

yeh, change it to human serum albumin.

Human serum albumin (HSA)1 is a globular protein of 585 amino acids which has a tertiary structure. It has three alpha-helical domains (folds) and loop structures.
