When the green plant lineage moved from an aquatic habitat to a terrestrial one, the lack of water posed severe problems for its ability to reproduce.

Describe three ways that some or all land plants adapted to facilitate sexual reproduction in the absence of open water.

I think its:
Gametangia, embryos, and poropollenin? Not sure if thats correct.

Also pollen: wind pollination and cross pollination. There were other forces in addition to wind that were utilized. Such as producing seeds that would hook or stick onto animals also chambers that would explode upon touch. Slight Smile
