I think depending on the subject, you CAN be all three.  but you probably have one that is a little more dominant.  i am def an auditory learner.  but reading it outloud (visual and auditory plus saying it) definitely gets it to sink in better.  and don't compare yourself to someone else.  i used to do that.  if it worked for her then if must work for me, right?  nope.  gotta find your own way.
