The image was obtained from this study, which you can read for free: http://www.pnas.org/content/111/2/646.full.pdf+html They hypothesize a little but as to why this occurs.

Based on their assumption between temperature and emotions.
Can we confirm following statements based on observations?
When we feel happy / love - Body sensations
  • Vasodialtion
  • Temperature increase
  • Better/faster reaction of enzymes
  • Other?

Do you have any suggestions on any other elements related to happy emotion to be observed?

"Serotonin can also signal through a nonreceptor mechanism called serotonylation, in which serotonin modifies proteins. This process underlies serotonin effects upon platelet-forming cells (thrombocytes) in which it links to the modification of signaling enzymes called GTPases that then trigger the release of vesicle contents by exocytosis."

It seems that Serotonin also related to enzymes, which reaction would slow down under lower temperature and make people blue, that make sense.

What about Summer blue? as increasing temperature should activate enzymes, people should feel better instead of feeling blues.

Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you very much for any suggestions :>

There's more to it, I think, but sure.

The summer's brutal heat, bright light, and long days can contribute to depression for the opposite reasons that the winter does. The mechanism, I don't know... Who would feel sad in the summer?!
