The picture I have attached is a cell phone pic of a random bacteria slide I looked at in my 200's level micro class yesterday. It was the first day, so I don't really have the expertise to say what it is, but I am really curious. Our professor was mostly seeing weather we could actually use a microscope, and I didn't have time to stick around and pick his brain about it.

The pic is with standard 10x occulars, and 40x objective (we start using oil immersion tomorrow, yay!)

Yes, and unfortunately that is about all I know. I'm not sure if that is enough to go on, but I am really curious if anyone knows.

Hey dropkickkid, it would be impossible to tell with microorganism lies on this slide. Identifying bacteria can sometimes take >6 biochemical tests. All we can deduce from this image is that it's Gram-positive.
Thanks for looking at it anyway, I appreciate it!
