Common bile duct obstruction

Hello everyone

When the common bile duct is obstructed, there would be no more bile getting into the duodenum, and this causes clay stool symptoms. But also, when it is obstructed, bile won't make its way to the intestines either, rather it gets into the circulation. So what is the clinical term for this? I recall I heard it as janstrus or something like that during class. But I am definitely sure this is wrong because my professor was not speaking properly into the microphone and it was a lecture in a big lecture hall.  Could someone please help
