In Post-Community policing came along after 9-11. In your opinion what are the pros and cons of Police Collective Bargaining. Explain.

The pros to collective bargaining would be giving officers a greater voice. It allows them to have a mediator that is looking over the officers best interest when it comes to pay raises and the needs of the police officers. The officers would feel as if they have greater control over their futures and will have a greater sense of unity. The cons are that collective bargaining does not take into account the budget of the police department and can create an us against the leadership. It could also make it harder to get rid of a bad officer and force promotions on officers who may not rate it.
