The question is a bit broad.  What information would you want to compare? For example, working hours and the type of employees that can be used drastically changed between the two time periods. There were no fixed legal hours, breaks or age limits during the Industrial Revolution period such that child exploitation was rampant and due to their dexterity with their small fingers, they could reach or fix issues with the machinery that was used such as in the textile industry or mining. In contemporary US society, that type of labor would be unheard of.
