Do animals like doves have chiasma optica?

The human eyes have something called chiasma optica. This is due to (to my understanding) splitting nerve that comes from each eye and goes into each half of the brain. This makes viewing a single picture with two eyes possible and apparently also makes that the viewing angle is somewhat the same if you close one eye.

My question is: Do animals like doves have this as well? They have their eyes on the side for a larger field of view. So do the two pictures of the eyes just connect to each other or is there also some crossing over going on there?
