Presumably the omitted reaction was:
4 Al + 3 O2 → 2 Al2O3

(10.0 g Al) / (26.9815 g Al/mol) = 0.370624 mole Al
(19.0 g 02) / (31.9989 g O2/mol) = 0.593770 mole O2
0.370624 mole of Al would react completely with (3/4) x 0.370624 = 0.277968 mole O2, but there is more O2 present than that, so O2 is in excess and Al is the limiting reactant.

(0.370624 mol Al) x (2/4) = 0.185 mole Al2O3
