Are there multiple alpha carbons in a protein with multiple amino acids connected by peptide bonds? or is there just one. If there is one, is it the carbon closest to the n-terminus side or the c-terminus side?

There are multiple Alpha carbons in a protein . Alpha carbon is that carbon which is next to the Carboxylic acid group .
