In a observed population frequency of blood type A is 42%, of blood type B 17%, of blood type AB 7% and of blood type 0 34%. The blood type is determined by 3 alleles: codominant IA and IB and by recessive I0. Combinations of these elleles produce the following fenotypes:

IA IA, IAI0   >  A
IB IB, IB I0  >  B
IA IB  >  AB
I0 I0  >  0

Determine the frequency of I0 allele in population.
Determine the frequency of IA and IB alleles in population.

How could I calculate this. Usually I used Hardy-Weinberg equation: p2+2pq+q2=1. But up to now I always solved only tasks where there are two alleles: one dominant and one recessive. How should I solve this task since now I have three alleles of which 2 are codiminant and one recessive?
