ok so asthma is a narrowing of the bronchial tree. thats what causes the wheezing and shortness of breath. the SNS is the fight or flight system. So the SNS does a ton of things that make you better at running away from a bear. One of the functions is to dilate  the bronchial tree so you can take in more air. so if you mimick the SNS (with medications or something) then you will widen your airway and reduce the effects of astham
