What would happen if the suns radiation touches us without the Ozone layer? Will we get cancer or will we be dead??

Also, do we have the power and technology to destroy the moon, like with rockets and all??

thanks

The ozone layer blocks around 98% of ultraviolet radiation from the sun. You would either have to wear protective clothing, a ton of sunblock or live underground. Plant life would be killed by all the UV.

I doubt we could blow up the moon, why would we want to?

In order for the most harmful radiation to reach us, the atmosphere must have no two-atom molecules in it with two or more bonds.  On Earth, this means loss of all nitrogen and oxygen.  This alone would kill us.  The Sun makes and destroys ozone in the ozone layer quite rapidly.  The equilibrium value left is what is allowed by parasitic compounds that help destroy ozone.

We can destroy the Moon by moving it within Earth's Roche limit.  Of course, the tides would destroy most of civilization too...
