I was in Seward AK a few weeks ago and found this in a tide pool. I was wondering what it is. (Sadly the pictures didn't come out too well.)

It was about an inch long. There were quite a few of them. After disturbing them they would dig down in between the rocks/ into the sand, to hide (very well).

Looks like a millipede.

Adult millipedes vary from 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches in length. When prodded or at rest, most millipedes curl up.
