arteries: largest, high pressure and a lot of oxygen. Has a lot of elastin to accomodate the high pressure
arterioles: medium size, between arteries and capillaries, lower pressure and lots of O2. has a lot of smooth muscle to move the blood to the capillaries.
capillaries: low pressure, and medium amount of structure.
venules: low pressure and O2,
veins: large, low pressure and O2

veins: have no smooth muscles and has valves
