This website is great and has such a vast array of topics. My area of expertise is PT and sports medicine. If we added a sports medicine/ medicine category we could potentially increase the number of athletic trainers, PTs, OTs, and sports medicine professionals who access the site.

Hi Othello2,

Should we call it "Sports Medicine" and should it be a child of "Health, Nutrition, & Food Sciences"?

Sports medicine. the other one I feel like is predominately food, I wouldn't go there if I wanted to post something medical related.

that is a good question. something about how you can discuss sport injuries/ questions as well as orthopedic injuries like sprains, strains, breaks, nerve palsys, as well as other medical questions.

How about:

Ask and discuss questions on sports injuries and orthopedic injuries, such as sprains, strains, breaks, nerve palsies, etc.

when is it going up

It's up now, under the parent: Health, Nutrition, & Food Sciences

I'm going to do a search of all topics containing the keywords sprains, strains, palsy, then transfer them over to this new board.
