Chemical Engineering - Separation Processes question:

A sheet of wood with dimensions 3 x 1 x 0.02 m is to be dried from the two large surfaces (the edges can be ignored) from an initial total moisture content of 70% on a dry basis to a final average total moisture content of 15% (on a dry basis),  sing hot air under convection mode. The drying can be considered as under a falling-rate period with internal liquid-diffusion control (within the wood sheet). The diffusivity of moisture in the wood sheet was determined experimentally as 2.0 x 10-6 cm2/s. The equilibrium moisture content was also determined as 7%. Estimate the drying time. State the assumptions (if used) in deriving the mathematical solutions.
