Describe two practical uses for an artificial chemical that behaves like chlorophyll.  Explain the value of each of the uses to society.

With an artificial chemical like chlorophyll, we would be able to harvest energy from the sun and convert it into chemical energy (glucose). We could then use the glucose to create biofuel. Second, we would vastly eliminate the need for other food sources, since we could create sugars without plants - eliminate world hunger? Maybe...
