A chemist test two solutions.One has pH of 6, the other a pH of 10.In which solution is the concentration of hydrogen ions less then the concentration of hydroxide ions?

The solution with pH of 10 has a greater concentration of hydroxide ions than hydrogen ions. For any pH greater than 7, this is true. For any less than 7, the opposite is true.

anything with OH ions (hydroxide) is basic....any pH above 7 is also basic so the concentration of pH 10 has more hydroxide ions and less hydrogen ions
