1.  Little Jin rolls his toy car horizontally off the top of a staircase with a speed of 3.0m/s.  Each of the steps is 0.18 m high and 0.30 m wide.  Which step does the car hit when it lands?

2.  You decide to drive around a circular track of radius 50.0 m in your car starting from rest.  You accelerate with a constant tangential acceleration of 2.00 m/s2.  You are initially at the far west side of the circular track and will travel counter clock-wise.
(a) What is the speed of your car when you have traveled ¼ the circumference of the track?
(b) At that point, what is the radial acceleration of your car?
(c) At the same point, what is the total acceleration?

3.  A 10.0 kg mass and a 7.00 kg bag of sugar are attached to one another by a rope through a pulley as shown in the diagram.  If we assume no friction in the system,
(a) Find the acceleration of the sugar.
(b) If the system is released from rest how far will the sugar travel in 0.30 s?
(c) What is the speed of the mass after 0.20 s?
