Why is every single answer different from one another; so which one is actually the right answer?

Topic isn't solved, so your guess is as good as theirs.

Let me try to bring all these replies together.

Glycolysis begins with the phosphorylation of glucose by ATP in two steps, so two ATP are input.
two Water molecules are produced from 2-phosphoglycerate to form PEP.
Nad+ is an input
NADH is an output
Pyruvate is an output-the oxidation of pyruvate, which does release CO2 and NADH, is considered to be a transition to the Krebs cycle, so is not a part of glycolysis/

Therefore, In glycolysis, ATP is both an input and output.ADP is an input.
NAD+ is an input and NADH is an output.
Finally, Pyruvate is an output as is water.
The rest of the substances mentioned do not come into play in glycolysis.

referring ONLY to glycolysis which is an anaerobic process

NET INPUT- NAD+, ADP, GLUCOSE
NET OUTPUT ATP, PYRUVATE, NADH

neither = acetyl CoA, CO2 and O2 ( these are involved in the TCA and ETS..NOT glycolysis

This is the correct answer

Well most of ya'll were wrong because I just looked at this for my homework because I couldn't find it in the book or the video shown and it was wrong.

net input - nad+ , coenzyme A ,
net output - nadh , co2 ,

the above is the formation of one pyruvate to acetyl coa

net input - 2 nad+ , 2 atp , 4 adp
net output - 2 nadh , 2 adp , 2 h2o , 4atp

the above is the formation of pyruvate from a glucose molecule
combine them and you get glucose to pyruvate to acetyl coa

I don't think that's correct.

Thanks!!! you were the only one on here with the right answer. Everyone else is just stupid

Net Input: glucose, ADP, NAD+
Net Output: Pyruvate, ATP, NADH
Not Input or Output: O2, CO2, acetyl CoA, coenzyme A

I just did this question, and i got it right.

Input: Nad+, ADP, Glucose
Output: ATP, pyruvate, nadh
Neither: Acetyl CoA, CO2, O2, coenzyme A

Simply put:
The net input: glucose, ADP, & NAD+
The net output: pyruvate, ATP, NADH
Not input or output: O2, CO2, acetyl CoA, coenzyme A

Also posted by sara2 would I obviously agree with. I would attach an image but I am technologically deficient.
