If the last part of of your question states that your offspring were yellow, then that means yellow is the dominant trait. A cross between pure breeding yellow plants and homozygous green plants would produce 100% heterozygous individuals in the next generation. Since the yellow gene is the one being expressed, it would have to be dominant.

I'd say C.) Yellow is the dominant trait, because the yellow trait showed up in the descendants.  This suggests the homozygous green plants were recessive for that trait.
