I know that the dissociation of CH3OH has something to do with finding the total molar concentration of ions but I still cant seem to figure out the correct answer. Help please!

The pKa of methanol is 15.5, meaning it will dissociate in water an order of magnitude less than water itself. Since the concentration of H+ and OH- in pure water is 1x10^-7 M each, there will be about 2x10^-7 M total ion concentration in pure water. The dissociation of methanol to H+ and CH3O- will be about a tenth of this, bringing the total ion concentration to 2.2x10^-7 M.
