like abortion and same sex marriage.

Even though I don't agree with abortion, being pro-choice is an individualist view, because you have the freedom to choose. Passing legislation banning something restricts freedom of choice, like whether or not to have an abortion or who to marry. Banning stuff takes away that freedom and individualism.

They believe in individual freedoms for themselves and anyone just like them.  The rest of us must conform.

well, libertarians and Republicans often disagree on this...

but anyway.... Republicans often want to restrict social freedoms... but seem to want total economic freedoms...

while liberals are the opposite...

On the "Same Sex Marriage" issue,I have to agree. Since every Abortion consists of the murder of an "Individual",any law that would ban most Abortions would actually be a defense of individual liberty. We give no one but "mothers" the "individual liberty" to order an assassination of another human being.

It's called the individual rights of the life of the baby.  There's a heartbeat just three days after conception so any arguments liberals/neo-cons try to make against the fact that it is a life are mute.

While people have a right to choose to be Satanic (murder babies and be homosexual) we Christians have a choice to stand up for Christ.  On Easter Sunday of all day!

Thank God for Jesus Christ!  http://www.constitutionparty.com

You may not like it but that's America.  It always has been and it will always be:)

The Satanic liberal/neo-con crowd is constantly trying to cram it's lack of morality down America's throat.  So much for your arguments regarding freedom of choice.

HOW THE F**k IS GIVING INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS TO THE UNBORN NOT INDIVIDUALISM??? as for gay marriage the govt needs to stay out of the rulings of marriage, we have seperation of church and state and liberals need to remeber that!

You can be for individualism and still ban things which you see as immoral such as abortion, same sex marriage, drug use, or murder.
Anyway they are more for economic individualism. Libertarians are the ones focused completely on personal choice.

Conservatives generally favor regulation that restricts individualism on the basis of morals.

Abortion is not a matter of freedom of choice.  It is the opposite.

When it comes to morality they want to be involved in everyone else's lives.

When it comes to economics they want the government to stay out.

The Democrats have the two the other way around.

If you want a party that stays out of morality and also out of the free market, there just isn't one.

You are pro-choice death, that is the difference. The death of a baby seen as a burden on society. Conservatism sees every new baby as a potential asset to society and intends on giving EVERY baby a chance for life, liberty ans the pursuit of happiness. You want a mother to choose for that baby. The baby is innocent how he came into life, and NO MOTHER should ever have the choice of ending it for any baby.

Abortion is legal so that part of your complaint is bogus on it's face.  As fo sam sex marriage, places like California had it voted down by Black Democrats who did not support it in droves.  Are they conservatives now?  What about gun ownership, you side is draconian about that.
