Face with Stuck-out Tongue     A correction for # 7 above
" Explain how returning to normal breathing after hyperventilation differed from hyperventilation without returning to normal breathing."

Answer should be: When there is a return to normal breathing, there is a brief period of about ten seconds where the breath is held in order retain CO2 before returning to normal breathing after hyperventilation. The brief breath holding is what returns hyperventilation to normal breathing. In hyperventilation without return to normal breathing this does not happen.

just in case anyone else uses this in the future....... Slight Smile

Is there an answer key to this book? or a place to find the answers to all the exercises so I can double check all of my work? I just started this class, and we were thrown right in... I am having a hysterectomy in a week, so I have very little time for my classes.  Thumbs Down Sign

No answer key, but some people including myself provide answers to specific questions people might have. If need to start a new subject, click "New Topic" and ask away lol

Correction:  #20 should be alkalosis (lowered CO2) and #22 should be acidosis (elevated CO2)
