If the dorsal respiratory group of neurons in the medulla oblongata were destroyed bilaterally, 
A) a person would stop breathing. 
B) pulmonary ventilation would increase markedly. 
C) the respiratory minute volume would increase. 
D) tidal volumes would decrease.
