Retirement is the point in a person's life when he or she stops participating full-time in his or her career. Traditionally, employees retired at the age of 65, but this is no longer the case. Financial concerns are causing many employees to continue working until much later in life.

The answer should be whenever the employee stops participating full-time in his/her career.
