Feel free to chime in on this question:

Is it right for the US government to topple a regime that isn't even a threat to American citizens?

The US government is planning to strike Syria to help the rebels (the FSA and Al-Nusra Front - two well-known terrorist groups that have promised to enforce Sharia Law and kill innocent Christians and Muslims) because of a supposed "chemical attack" by Assad's Syrian government that never even occurred [1]. The US government is using this as propaganda on CNN and other major television shows to strike an innocent country that is doing its best to defeat these terrorists.

I agree, policing other countries is no one's business. Who elected the US to be the world's moral police?

The chemicals came from the militants to frame Assad and to have the US come in. No one is buying into lies any more.

Oh come on you don't like our empire here? I mean this is same government so worried about the Iraq and Syria border while they give Mexican  cartels AR15's at our border, to go against unarmed border patrol. Lets see our government has troops stationed in over 200 countries trying to police the world. Same government that has been putting and pulling dictators in and out of power for for forty years. Iran- Contra? Nicaragua dictactors and the US

I wonder what our government would do if North Korea came here building military bases like we been doing  on middle east holy land for 30 plus years much less saying who should have power in a foreign country. They send federal agents to a compound where people are there on there on freewill. They firebomb it, and then over thirty kids under the age of ten  burn alive, and they don't think there hundreds Tim McVeighs ready for revenge. Then they want us too act shocked when a Muslim extremist wants run a plane into buildings. But the average american who still thinks we have real personal and economic freedom,  believes our government at there word that we were attacked because we are "free". Its called blowback not freedom. Its like sticking your foot in ant pile and being shocked when the ants bite you.

This is same government that brainwashed people, that we were fighting a cold war for 30 years over the spread of "communism" because it was a dirty word here. The sad part is most Americans followed the herd and were ignorant to what communism even means. Just because a Socialist government says they are Communist because its a good word to their citizens doesn't make it a Communist government. The government does not control the means of production in a communist system, that is called socialism. In-fact a true communism  government would be impossible to ever create. The closest example was the early catholic church circa 100ad.

Less than half a year ago, N. Korea threatened us with nuclear war. What did we do? Nothing. As a matter of fact, we brushed it off as a false alarm. Syria has never threatened the US, yet America feels the necessity to destroy their government. Things just don't add up; the US government clearly has an agenda to spread Al Qaeda in the Middle East; pretty much doing the dirty work for the Israelis. Take a second and think about all the attacks Al Qaeda has performed - all against Muslims, but how does that make sense? Is Al Qaeda just a puppet of Israel?

Not only that but through Planned Parenthood the US supports chemical attacks on their own innocent babies through abortion.

I can't stand watching CNN any more. They're all a bunch of liars who quote themselves every five minutes. About Syria, US has an agenda and involves protecting Israel and going after Iran next. They want to make the Shiites a minority in the Middle East and strengthen the Sunnis so that the Middle East never progresses.

For events that can't be proved easily, media can't be trusted.

It seems that Russia doesn't currently approve an attack to Syria by USA. So, either way, I think it's unlikely to happen soon.

I read that Obama said he could authorize a strike without Congress's approval, but decided to ask just to save face. Ridiculous.

And the fact that at least three nuclear-armed countries are "strongly urging" us not to do anything. Yet the geniuses up on the hill don't seem to understand that.

Sometimes I wonder if government officials watch alternative media, like liveleak.com?

Do they think we are a bunch of idiots?

Did you know that John Kerry, who has been pushing for the war, is Jewish? Thought it would be interesting to mention since CNN keeps giving this creep airtime.
