Activity 1
#1. Skeletal muscle fibers are all the fibers within a fassicle, a motor unit consists of all the muscle fibers it intervates, a muscle twitch is the mechanical response to a single action potential, the electrical stimulus in this excersise is administered by an electrical stimulator that can be set for the percise voltage, frequency, and duration of shock desired, and lastly latent period is the time that elapses between the generation of an action potentialin a muscle cell and the start of muscle contration.

I need help with the 9.0 version excersise# 2 pgs# 29-32. Specifically activity# 5 question # 2 What are some proposed causes of skeletal muscle fatigue? I would also like to double check my answers if anyone has completed this excersise.

Ok so I finally figured out the answer to Excersise #2 activity #3 qutestion #5. Compare and contrast frequency-dependent wave summation with motor unit recruitment (previously observed by increasing the stimulus voltage) How are they similar? How was each achieved in the expirement? Explain how each is achieved in vivo. Frequency-dependent wave summation is dependent upon stimulation by the nervous system. The motor recruitment depends upon the number of motor fibers available. I am posting in case anyone else was stumped.
