As a lawyer you have some experience in paternity suits. You are required to provide technical support to a jury in a mother's request for support payments from the father. Laboratory tests reveal the following...
Father: Typed as Rh+, B blood type, and M blood type
Children are twins
Male: Rh- O blood type and M blood type
Female: Rh+, AB blood type and MN blood type
Mother: Rh+, A blood type, M blood type
Show how you would present this in court...

Also can some explain what it means by M blood type?

The MN blood type of the girl rules the man out as being her father. Note that the mom does not have an N allele, and neither does the man, therefore the man cannot be the girl's father.

Although it is possible for fraternal twins to have different fathers, it is highly unlikely. So the man is "off the hook," so to speak.
