5 components to Fitness Fitness equals Legitness Being physically fit is much easier than many people think. There are five main components to fitness. The following are the components: Cardiorespiratory fitness- the ability of your body to supply energy and oxygen during physical activity over an extended period of time. Muscular strength- the amount of force your muscles can produce at once Muscular endurance- the ability to perform a muscle movement over a period of time. Flexibility- range of motion around a specific joint Body Composition- the percentage of fat, bone, and muscle inside your body. Many activities can help you achieve these five components to achieve fitness. Simply yoga or stretching can achieve flexibility. Breathing exercises while running or swimming can help you achieve Cardiorespiratory fitness. These activities are simple yet can be fun.
