Endocrine glands in the brain.

Description
The hypothalamus forms the floor and part of the walls of the third ventricle, as well as the stalk of tissue that goes to the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland sits in a bony cup in the sphenoid bone. The pineal gland is located between the two lobes of the thalamus.
