Description
If you were to complete a self-rated personality inventory, and then have family members and other loved ones rate your personality using the same scales, how well would your answers match? Here we see that there is a relatively strong correlational relationship between how people rate their own levels of extraversion with ratings completed by family members, spouses, parents, and siblings. Similar results have been reported for emotional stability, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness.
