Description
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common medical condition that affects the hand and wrist. It occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm to the hand, becomes compressed or squeezed as it passes through a narrow passageway called the carpal tunnel. The carpal tunnel is a small, rigid structure located on the palm side of the wrist.
