Clear the thigh with long strokes. Start superior to the patella; place your full flat hand and fingers on the skin using light pressure; stretch the skin toward the inguinal nodes and then slide over the skin up to the inguinal node area maintaining the stretch. At the inguinal nodes quickly remove your hand(s) from the skin, allowing it to snap back to its starting position. You need only to cover the anterior thigh because the lymph from the posterior thigh passes through the anterior thigh on its way to the inguinal nodes. Repeat 10 to 15 times.
