Steps in the processing and splicing of mRNA

Description
The template strand of DNA is transcribed into a pre-mRNA molecule. The ends of this molecule are modified, and the introns are spliced out to produce a mature mRNA molecule. The mRNA is then moved to the cytoplasm for translation.
